Utica University and the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Student Transitions works to recognize and celebrate a wide variety of identity based holidays and heritage months throughout the year.
Learning about other beliefs and values through celebration is an effective, fun way to increase empathy and understanding of different cultures.
